CONCRETE FINISHER
Job Summary:
This role is responsible for placing, finishing, and repairing concrete surfaces to ensure a high-quality finished product that meets project specifications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in concrete finishing techniques, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Place, level, smooth, and finish surfaces of poured concrete (floors, sidewalks, curbs, walls, etc.).
- Operate hand tools and power finishing equipment such as trowels, floats, screeds, and grinders.
- Apply curing compounds, sealants, and surface treatments as required.
- Patch and repair finished concrete as necessary.
- Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with supervisors and crew members to ensure are completed on time and to quality standards.
Required Skills / Abilities:
- Knowledge of concrete properties, setting times, and finishing techniques.
- Proficiency with finishing tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Education and Experience Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 2+ years of experience as a concrete finisher or in a related construction trade.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds regularly.
- Prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, and walking on uneven surfaces.
- Use of protective equipment as required (safety boots, gloves, glasses, etc.).

Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $24.00-$32.00 per hour
