CONCRETE LABORER

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work in a team prepping and pouring concrete in commercial, agricultural, and residential settings.
  • Perform general construction labor from project start to finish.
  • Ability to quickly learn and assist in all facets of the project.
  • Operating various construction and concrete tools and material handling.
  • Lifting, carrying, or pulling up to 50 pounds or more of material.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
  • Pre-hire drug screen.
  • Ability to listen to, understand, and follow directions.
  • Ability to remain flexible as specific assignments change.
  • Dedicated and reliable work ethic.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic as needed.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Education and Experience Qualifications

  • Ability to read a tape measure.
  • Willingness to be trained on multiple areas.

Physical Requirements

  • Requires strength to lift, push, pull, or on occasion, carry objects of 50 pounds or more. Also, flexibility to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs. Must be able to stand between eight and twelve hours per day. Some tasks involve repetitive motion.

Hours and Pay

  • Monday – Friday (some potential Saturdays)
  • $22/hr or higher, depending on experience
